SUMMER SOLSTICE: Solar Bloom
Join us for a deeply restorative evening honoring the energy of the Summer Solstice, a season of expansion, abundance, reflection, and renewal.
This intimate 90 minute experience is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and soften into the warmth and beauty of the season through ritual, sound healing, Reiki, tea, and intentional community.
Throughout the evening, guests will be invited to create their own floral intention bundle using dried florals and herbs while setting intentions for the season ahead. Together, we’ll gather around a beautiful flower altar and move through grounding practices designed to calm the nervous system and create space for clarity, peace, and emotional renewal.

TANDEM THAI YOGA BODYWORK
Join us for a deeply restorative yet energizing experience designed to relax the body, calm the mind, and strengthen connection. This is a 2hr hands on workshop where you and your parnter will learn to facilitate simple stretches, rhythmic rocking and mindful touch techniques. No experience necessary and open to all.

MOTHER'S DAY SPA YOGA
This Mother’s Day, we invite you into a candlelit sanctuary where every detail is thoughtfully curated to support deep rest and renewal. Rooted in our Feel Free philosophy of holistic care, this experience is designed to nurture your body, calm your nervous system, and fill your cup.
We’ll begin with slow, supported yin yoga with long held shapes that gently open the body while you’re layered in comfort with blankets, warm neck pillows, and eye pillows. Soft aromatherapy will be woven throughout the space as you’re offered subtle, intuitive reiki to deepen your sense of ease and energetic balance.
As your body unwinds, you’ll be guided into meditation and quiet reflection, with space to journal and honor your journey where you’ve been, what you’re holding, and what you’re ready to receive.
The experience will close with immersive sound healing, allowing the body to fully integrate in a state of deep rest, accompanied by soft ambient tones and spa-inspired music.
Afterward, you’re invited to stay and linger in our tea lounge, enjoying herbal blends, light nourishing bites, and gentle connection in a space designed to feel like an exhale.

ANNUAL KAYAKING ADVENTURE
This is a community event open to all. Join us for a leisurely paddle along the Chestatee River. This is a level I (beginners and up) section of the river. It takes around 4 hours and we will stop along the way to eat lunch. We will depart (carpool) from Feel Free at 8:30am and return late afternoon. Wear water shoes, bring a hat and a waterproof bag if you have one and don't forget your sunscreen. The cost includes boat rental and shuttle. FULL BODY MYOFASCIAL RELEASE + RESTORE
Join Brenda for a full body myofascial release and restorative practice. Myo refers to muscle; and fascia is the network of connective tissue that surrounds and includes your muscles. Healthy myofascia is key to mobility. Tight myofascial tissue can restrict movement in your muscles and joints. This can lead to widespread pain and discomfort. Fascial release uses a ball, foam roller or yoga block in conjunction with body weight to apply therapeutic pressure to improve the slide and glide of your tissues by eliminating knots and increasing hydration through the act of compressing and releasing, like a sponge. This sequence will help release the most common areas of tension, giving the muscles greater capacity to stretch and move. We will target one area at a time, releasing the fascia then retraining those released muscles to lengthen and engage in gentle yoga poses. The sequence will end with a relaxing restorative practice and savasana.

ATHENS FARMER'S MARKET - Yoga + Pilates
Join FFYW on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Athens Farmer’s Market in Bishop Park. Classes are donation based and all proceeds benefit the Farm Rx Program. The Program is a produce prescription program that prescribes fruits and vegetables to patients with chronic, diet-related illnesses. This promotes healthy eating and reduces the burden of chronic disease.

The spiritual meaning of the spring equinox is deeply rooted in themes of balance, renewal, and transformation. This celestial event marks the moment when day and night are equal in length, symbolizing harmony between light and dark. Across cultures, the equinox has long been recognized as a powerful time for growth, reflection, and new beginnings.
We will gather for a cacao ceremony and cacao finger foods as we share from our hearts and set intentions for the season ahead.
The spring equinox offers an opportunity to align with nature’s rhythms, set fresh intentions, and deepen spiritual practices. By incorporating yoga, meditation, and mindful rituals, we can embrace the energy of the season and cultivate inner balance.

What is hypnotherapy?
A hypnotherapy session is very much like a guided meditation. You will feel deeply relaxed as you are guided on a visual journey by the therapist. The purpose is to work directly with the subconscious mind to release limiting beliefs or habits you wish to let go of and replace them with what you do want. The
conscious mind is still aware and ultimately in control during the process.
What can hypnotherapy help with?

Addressing common misconceptions about hypnotherapy:
-Hypnotherapy is NOT mind control
-You cannot be put into a state of hypnosis against your will
-Nothing will change that you don’t wish to change
-If something outstanding were to happen, for example a smoke alarm goes off, you will immediately be aware and will leave the building as you typically would
-You cannot be left in a state of hypnosis during our session
-You will not be made to quack like a duck or anything ridiculous
How this workshop will flow:
-After a brief introduction, I will speak about hypnotherapy and address any questions or concerns anyone has.
-Next, we will get into the hypnotherapy session itself. Note that each individual’s experience with hypnotherapy is their own, the therapist is simply a guide. We will start with taking a few relaxing breaths, closing our eyes, & doing a visualization exercise to get our bodies into a complete state of
relaxation. From there, we will go into the specific work we are addressing in the session. It is a very moving experience and many clients have teared up by the end of each session. If you are curious, but do not wish to participate in the hypnotherapy portion, you are welcome to simply stay and observe.
-To wrap up, depending on time, I will invite participants to share their experience if they feel inspired to do so.
